The 8th African International Conference (AIC) on Statistics is set to take place in the beautiful city of Hammamet, Tunisia, from June 24 to 28, 2024, proudly hosted by the University of Tunis El Manar (UTM), Tunisia, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), USA. This collaborative event will be co-organized by esteemed institutions such as the American Statistical Association (ASA), UTM, UMBC’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the Tunisian Society of Mathematics (SMT), the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (FST), and the laboratory Mathematical Modelization, Statistic Fiability, and Stochastic Analysis (M2ФAS). The central theme of the conference revolves around “Empowering Innovation: Advanced Statistics and Data Science for Sustainable Development in Africa.”
